[JP]
Well..today was the great day...after being stoped since November with her engine out..she came to life!!! buttrock.gif

However....itīs making a weird noise.. Iīve put my hand just near the cylinder head and I can feel a leak, so probably the down pipes are not well in place... you can hear it on the video, do you think that noise is made by the leak on the downpipes or can be something inside the engine?
I canīt adjust the downpipes now cause they are hot..

btw..Iīve also found out that I swear a lot in English, so carefull when watchin, however I managed to cut the beginning of the video where there was several attempts to start her and they were all failed, so on this bit there is only one F word...

Fourtoes
So you'll be bringing her to Farmyard then eh?
[JP]
ho yeh.. the whole point of all this rushing around now was to make her ready for the rally season.... donīt fancy doing all the rides on the TRX with only 2 bits of foam as a seat..

and the thundercat has a big wide passenger seat where I strap the tent, sleeping bag, rucksack, etc....

Class bowdown.gif Glad you got the cat running mate, was it a replacement box or did you get Ancient sort it out, sorry if I missed your post chap.

Are you taking it to Fox's on Sunday?
[JP]
At the end we only replaced the gear selectors that seemed bent and were smashed up with a lot of wear...

looking at the gearbox from the sump all seemed normal... fingers crossed that the gear selectors replacement will have sorted everything, if not Iīll just have to ride it easy on low revs

might take her to Foxīs yes...going to get a new tyre tomorrow from Micheldever as I have a customer to visit down that way
Egg 'n' Bacon
Good work mate bowdown.gif
fastfitter
Could be blowing past the header pipe gaskets, did you replace them?
[JP]
the gaskets were replaced when I fitted the downpipes last time so they are not very old and they were good.... but I didnīt put any gasket paste as I read here somewhere that it doesnīt need in there...
Kevster
Congratulations dude smile1.gif
All the efforts pay off, hmm?
