I went out on Tink today grin.gif What a machine! She feels great, moves well and is sooooo comfortable! I only did a few miles around town but she blew my mind I came back with a huge grin on my face and got the polish out when I noticed that she may have got a tiny bit dirty! I even got really used to having a bike with a fairing!

Now I have a shopping list:-

Crash bungs (just in case)
Rear hugger, painted to match the bike. (I will be doing lots of A12 miles)
A lower gel seat - Just to give me that little bit more confidence when stopping!

But my overall verdict is YAY I've never been so in love with a bike like I am with Tink. hearts.gif

Now, everyone go and buy one lbhh.gif

I can't thank EB enough for spoiling me as much as he did buttrock.gif hearts.gif hearts.gif buttrock.gif cool2.gif

you canna beet that new bike experience.

The gel seat thing - I bought a gel pad for Sue and took it with the rear seat to a local upolsterer, he only charged £15 to fit it, and its perfect, looks standard and you would not know it was there but she says its real comfey.

The gel pad is better than most gel seats it came from a company that make stuff for peeps stuck in same spot all day like some wheelchair users etc. (oh and it can't burst, some sort of self sealing material). Wish I could remember where I got it from some american website I think.

As someone who just got their new bike yesterday and hasn't stopped grinning since, let me say congrats, and many, many happy miles grin.gif beer.gif

Get the crash bungs and put them on YESTERDAY. Mine have proven their worth on 6 occasions now! It makes me laugh when people say "£50?! for a piece of rubber?!" They'll be saying something else when they see their pride and joy sliding down the road, probably starting with B and ending with ollocks! (that's exactly what i said the first!)

Oh, i almost forgot! Glad you're enjoying the new bike and very nice it is indeed!

Lucky you! I should get my new one tomorrow, so hope I have just as good an experience. Keep on enjoying!!

(Little bit nervous about moving up to a 600 from my little 125 though) talktohand.gif

It's like sitting on my boss? I know he's well-padded, but... Oo1.gif

Glad you enjoyed it - it's good to get a big bike smile1.gif
I remember crapping myself the first time out on my Divvie (he's called "teabag", but don't tell him - it's only 'cos he's always leaking somewhere...)
Give it a couple of weeks and you'll realise there's nothing to be scared of and you can start to ease open the throttle. That said, I'm sure you'll be sensible. Oh, and try the brakes grin.gif

Saw an ER6F on the way into work today. Looked nice.

Yep nice one, do look like nice bikes. How about a couple more pics with the screen on.

I took my bragging rights to the max today and went to see mum and dad on her, they took a few piccys as I left on Tink so when mum e-mails them to me I shall post them!

This is my second big bike, but weirdly enough, the brakes are better on this one lbhh.gif did 62 miles today and thouroughly enjoyed myself. It was great when I noticed that innocent bystanders were admiring my pride and joy wwww.gif

And she sounds like one of those speeder bikes from starwars when shes going! lbhh.gif
