I agree with Ima and everyone who replied regarding flat cap dirvers.
Nevertheless, am I the only one that truly hates those bikers who wear darft fluffy ears suctioned to the outside of their lids??
Just to let all of you out there know(you know who you are).........THEY LOOK REALLY UNCOOL!!!!!! No really.........THEY DO!!!!
I personally feel a bit embarassed for them when I see them, and most of them either have crap bikes and want to be noticed, or have really big bikes and an ego to match and want to be noticed.
Give me a nice rounded helmet any time

Err confesion time,
i had a pair when i had the cbr6,
i turned up at jnr's school with them on & have to say the reaction was good-its nice to know peeps can laugh at you openly(& ridicule you behind your back

)
of course when i got the ZZr the "ears" had long gone(at about 135 mnp if i remember correctly)
anyway now i know our in house fashion guru does not approve...........
what about those fake hair mohicans then??

There new one that you can get that cover the entire helmet.

I saw a kermit the frog one and I think the other one was a bear.
They're not for me though.

we used to have some of the ears at the last school i worked at-if you got the snotty 17 yr old lad with attitude, i'm sure you know the type, we used to say "your helmet needs adjusting(while he had it on , obviously) & stick them on. it always took a while b4 they cottoned on-often with hilarious results.
of course being such a nice/professional instructor i would NEVER be involved myself.

I think they're a great idea, gives the Countryside Alliance a chance to shoot at something generally unwanted ( ie tasteless numpties) and gives the foxes a chance too.

What about those tinted visors- not the black ones, not the ones that give an Iridium(sp?) effect but ones that have a hologram on them.. you look out of them fine (slight tint but not illegal) but from the outside it looked like you had Alien eyes, big cat's eyes and similar stuff.
I once saw a guy with a helmet painted to look like a panther and had the cat eye visor- it look very cool.
Which brings me on to full helmets shaped/painted to resemble something (like an animal- some look cool, some don't).

I've seen the goggles with similar effect advertised. I'd consider those for a laugh.
I've thought about the inserts before. I wear glasses and I don't have a perscription pair anymore. I struggle quite a bit with the low sun at this time of year. Especially if the road is wet and its reflecting the sun back up. Sometimes that I could remove quickly would come in handy.
