Has anyone noticed the alarming increase of drivers wearing hats doing stupid bloody things on the roads.

It seems everytime i see someone doing summat daft eg driving at silly slow speeds, turning without indicating, braking for no apparent reason other than they've just found the pedal, arriving at roundabouts in the wrong lane then just cutting everybody up.

They always seem to be wearing some kind of hat usually one of those that looks like a cornish pasty.

mostly baseball caps
BBC for short...

I've been saying it for years "if it's wearing a hat, avoid it like the plague" I think the hat may be working as some sort of brain muffler, or it has some kind of evil powers over the wearer, because i swear, everytime i'm behind someone driving a car who's got a hat on, they pull some dumb erse move and almost cause a pile up. Ah the joys of motoring mad1.gif mad1.gif

I've never been a hat wearer. Only occasionally if I'm going to be out in the sun for a long time or its persisting down and I don't have a brolly will I wear a baseball type cap but as soon as I'm back in the car it comes off again.

blush21.gif I occasionally wear a hat in the car but only when I start early shift during the winter.

At 6:30am its bitter in the car at that time. I only wear it till the car warms up though. blush21.gif Maybe I should buy a cruiser. sniffle.gif

Not quite the same but what erks me is people wearing base ball caps with the peak to the rear - oky i used to do this when i played tennis but that was to have better visibillity so i could see the ball!
And, worst of all, sunglasses worn on top of the head. im not talking about wearing sunglasses coz its bright and lifting them up on your head when going into a shop or something but more the people who plonk them on top of their head as a head dress or cool look. It doesnt, it looks crap.

I wear a wooly hat when it's cold and windy, one of few hat types that'll keep your ears warm.
But why you'd want it on in a heated car is beyond me.

Re. Baseball caps, someone said if you put one on your IQ drops by 25% - turn it wrong way round, and it drops 50%...!! swivel.gif
