How do i find out the correct tyre pressures for my bike. Like for dry roads
BIKE.......YZF-R1
TYRE.......BTO14

They are will be 36 front, 42 rear.

There should be a wee sticker on the bike, usually on the chain guard.. tells you pressures for tyres etc.

some of the tyre manu's also put cold running pressures on the tyre wall

Or look in the owners manual. Failing that go to the Bridgestone site look up their tyre selector, put in the details of your bike and hey presto they'll tell you recommended tryes and pressures.

thanks guys i know it sounded a bit of a stupid thing to ask but i had no manual and there were no numbers on the tyres
