I heard that a certain members stolen bike has turned up! Sadly it's dumped in a quarry or summat. Is this true mate?

Yeah sorry to say it is true.
A young lad had seen Ima working on the bike and recognised it. He cycled a mile to our house last Thursday and left his details with our neighbour. When we phoned he said he'd take Ima to see it.
It was/is smashed to bits and up to its handlebars in muddy water - don't know how long its been there (we think most or all of the time since it was taken) Ima doesn't want to / can't face the thought of starting all over again with it not to mention the cost of drying, cleaning and re-building.

Its a crying shame that is.
Still at least it ends the mystery of what became of it.
Dya reckon they just rode it around a field and the smahed it up and shoved in the quagmire when they'd had their fun? Little sh!ts!

We kinda think they've not been able to get the disc lock off, carried it as far as they could - got tired and frustrated smashed it up and chucked it in the rezzy - its only about 1/2 mile from our house!!!
If this was the old west we'd get a big posse together round em up and hang the bastards, no better than horse thieves IMHO.

If i had my way, the offending little sh!te bags that nicked your pride and joy would get tied to the back of the cage and taken for a joy ride, see how they like it !!! Now that's something i'd pay good money to see

Let me know if you catch them, cos i'd like a couple of front row seats for the event

Sorry to hear about the bike Ima, is it worth getting it of the ins comp and rebuilding it if the price is right? its a shame to see so much work and time go down the pan, we all followed the grief you had at times rebuilding the bike..GO ON mate GET it going, look at the ego building side.. YOU CAN DO IT

BIKE GOD n' STICKER GURU
Oh Plug, you really know how to rub it in accidentally. It wasn't insured for theft it was only third party so the insurance company aren't interested. If Ima wants it back he goes wading and its his.

Ima
Ya know what I was trying to say mate, you now nothing untowards was meant just me TRYING to be helpfull

A million pardons if it put salt in the wound slopping off slyly
I've been and given the gs a second opinion and it's utterly effed the forks are so badly bent that the front wheel is touching the mill that's about 6 inches of bend boys n girls. so have to figure the yokes have gone the same route which might mean the frame is also bent.
There was a big slick of something oily looking all around it the headlights smashed the indicators are all broken off and cracked and so the list goes on.
would probably cost more to fix than replace, so, i'm hunting again.
