Indicators? can I legaly move them higher or lower than (on my bike ) mid way either side of the rear reg plate as the throw overs are bending the indicaters, even tho they are rubber stemed.
I know you can buy/make exstentions to come from the No plate mount but that does not get them away from me throw overers as I need to stop them bending my r/indi's any one know?? you techy guru's you. bowdown.gif

pony express riders had the same problem. Sfar as i know its the distance between them thats the stickler - you should be able to move them through a vertical plane.

can't really see a problem with it myself

as long as theyre visible, distinguishable from left to right, do not obstruct anything, are not in any way a hazzard and are secure. I dont see a problem.
There are micro indicators on the market at the mo. theyre tiny but flash brighter to compensate for the size.
They might give you a bit more clearance, but may be more fragile due to the minute size.

OR

Have ya thought about grafting some old moggy 1000 indicators on?
theyd be well tucked away behind the no. plate until ya needed them! laughcont.gif just pull on a bit string and out theyd pop!
Im a genius idea32.gif

I wonder if it was the micro indicators that Ging has. Fecking hard to notice in bright sunlight. Probably okay in the dark though. I think it was because they were so close to the brake light, that they didn't stand out so well.

The miro indicators come with 23 watt bulbs that are fine but i had to drop mine to 4 watt because the flasher couldnt cope , thats why the rears are hard to see.
Have a look at some of the catalouges and im sure you will find something

Ah! I wondered. They really are micro though... Very small..

There is a rule about how far apart they can/have to be but I'm jiggered if I can remember what it is.

And I don't reckon many MOT'ers will know either. As long as they work and you can tell left from right you'll be reet.

Can't be that far as many bikes have them integrated into the rear light cluster these days so won't be any wider than the rear end (that's of the bike not the rider! :tounge: ).

See the genius of kawasaki and the foolhardy nature of yamaha. Build them into the bodywork . like on ..........' ooh i dunno' .............a ZZR1100! bloody silly great naked yellow thing with more stomp than my bike and better looks and more comfortable and....well....shouldnt be allowed! mad1.gif
