If you live in or around Norwich then head over to HMT on Vulcan Road. They just sorted my exhaust took em 3 hours and it only cost me £35.25. Did a brilliant job too. Gonna get a full service there in march should cost about £100.

If I had the time and the equipment I would. Plus I need things like cam chain tightened carbs balanced valve check. All the internal things I don't quite trust myself with yet. Not unless I had a nice garage with lots of tools to work with. Oh and a spare bike to ride while I sorted that one.

I do do most of my own work things like changing rear wheel bearins, replacing downpipes, new brake pads etc......... Ya know the piss easy stuff.

Considering Yamaha shop charge £45 per hour I think £35 just to do some welding on my silencers is good. They replaced the old rusted bolts one of which snapped off when I was pulling pipes off. So they drilled that out and replaced it. They replaced the nuts holding the downpipes on even though if I had the time and money and got it down properly they would have been bolts instead. They fitted up the pipes and silencer so they fit properly welded it sprayed it so it wouldn't rust. Now If I had that done at yamaha they would have charged £135 just for labour ooh2.gif
