thinking of getting one, for the amount of time i get where i can open up the cbr and use it fully, compared to the amount of time I spend commuting, I think I'd be better off with the F650.

Plus, its better for touring, comfier, lower seat. And I take take it off road every now and then...

HAs anyone had any good/bad experiences of them?

havent got one, but know a guy who has & he regrets not getting an 1150 or 1200. reckons the 650 is a bit of a slug & hes about 9 stone wet thru.....

BA has ones as his 2nd bike...

but I haven't seeing him much online lately.....

they are ok but the engines are very rattly and nosiy and not that powerful. Plus bmw spares are very expensive. If you do get one ive got a spare barrel and piston floating about!
