Just had the Bandy back from MOT, service and new front tyre brigade and they wouldn't re-fit the Micron can... it would breach the MOT regs or something... although I rode it there with it on Oo1.gif

Anyhoo, after a quiet ride home I thought I'd better get the zorst back on ready for the off-chance that I get a spare 8 minutes to go for a blat to discover that the delightful little monkeys had cross-threaded the bloody hanging bolt... had a slightly longer one in the shed so fitted that with a load of washers.

Now, where would I purchase such an item m'learned gentlemen and women Oo1.gif

What size of bolt do you need?
Hilts
Could be because they use air-driven tools to fit the nuts and bolts back on, they wouldn't notice if the thread was crossed on a small fastener.

What do you need (diameter/length).

Or go Scottish...I don't mind laughcont.gif

You can get bolts from just about anywhere ( except maybe mothercare or anne summers)
Do you have a local iron mongers? failing that b&q although M&P do some very sexy anti theft ones that need a special little gizmo to undo em.

Ima, thanks... I am familiar with the concept of a shop, mate. Oo1.gif

However, what I need appears to be a Suzy original... it's 8x30 (let me check!) but it has fixed upon it's spindly nastiness a large washer type thing plus a split washer... which I can't get of to put on the other bolt I'm using or I would simply do that and trim the bugger to size!

I'll be back...

... with the correct size laughcont.gif

If you want an original Suzy part try a Suzy dealer. Personally I would have gone back and told them "you cross threaded it, you replace it devil1.gif "

Have you BEEN to Ann Summers lately?

Try going round the back- more hardware than N.A.S.A's garage.
