What is the legal requirement concerning mirrors? THe CB has those long spindly thingies, which clutter up the look of the bike.
I'd like to fit some on shorter stalks, but what's teh legal minimum? or isn't there such a thing?

Thanks T.C. - I didn't realise that they weren't actually required...
However, I do agree with you in that they are there for a reason... I'll look into it - thanks!

looks at his 750...oops no mirrors!
my bike aint on the road so there! :tounge: BUT mirrors saved my life, not by much but it gave me time to think(oh f*ck), speed up, change direction a bit before a ford transit hit me up the arris on the M6, if i didn't have mirrors, i would of been part of the M6 now the bike would of been thro the back window of an austin A35! mirrors are good for the paraniod

I'm trying to go in the opposite direction. My mirrors give me lovely views of my elbows but because of the weird fit onto the fairing, I'm having real hassles trying to get new extended ones. I just need them to see people disappear into the distance.

Best mirrors ever were my home made bar end ones. Brilliant but looked sh!te! Pan mirrors are superb too coz they kind of look back under you elbows in stead of straight at them. they do make some funky bar end mirrors these days though, worth a thought or two.
