The gs is a runner WOOHOO.
adjusted the fuel air mixture screw away from flood to run sweet as a nut.
starts under it's own steam no jump leads just need to go for a spin and check the plugs to make sure they're the right colour.

A huge thanx to everyone who helped, gave moral support on this I owe you all my sanity. bowdown.gif bowdown.gif bowdown.gif

And also a huge big thank you to suki for putting up with my tantrums, swearing, cursing, creating and general carrying on, I know you wanted to set the thing on fire many a time and prolly kick me in the nuts. hearts.gif hearts.gif

funny you should say that..
after i posted this it started to freak out again.

The problem was................

wait for it..............

I some how managed to get the fuel feed pipe crossed with another tube which i still can't figure out what it does but i suspect is some kind of overflow.
the funny thing was it's at the top of one of the carbs below the cv housing.
At the bottom of the carbs is a big tee piece which connects to the top of the float bowls changed these pipes over and vroom i'm off.

This seems to be what has been causing the plug fouling.
so far it's started every time.

fingers crossed.

The battery is of course as flat as a sheet of glass so that's on charge now.
I'm gonna try again later tonight but it's looking good.

there's a ton of cosmetic work to do yet i'd post a pic and everyone would say what the feck is that there's duck tape hanging off it,rusty bolts and half the engine lacquer on one side has washed away thanks to dripping petrol.

Let me clean it up a bit and i'll do a piccy for sure laughcont.gif laughcont.gif
