Leon
Hi,

I'm about to start seriously ringing around to get my DA training sorted.
Would anyone here be able to recommend a good company?

Thanks!

Hi Leon.

Devilpaint does rider training and TC is also a highly qualified police class 1 rider. if anybody knows the training business, these guys do. Hopefully one of the guys will point you in the right direction.

Leon, as i'm up north, i cant help you M8.
T.C. may be able to help, but looking through the yellow pages will give you a list of likely suspects. you will have to do your CBT 1st, then move on to DAS, if you're over 21, then you can ride pretty much anything you like, once you pass the test.Just make sure you're sitting down B4 you get ins quotes.
Any questions you have just ask.

Cheers guys!
Good plan T.C. - I'll look into it.

Most places here seems to roll CBT right into the start of the 5 day package anyhow...

Devil - ins quotes are fine. I like crusiers and so long as i stick to little engines (for the moment) I'm OK.
For example, my CB200 will cost me £181/year TPFT or about £300 FC
Even if I went upto 500cc it isn't too bad
(I'm paying well over £1200 atm for my Starion, so anything looks cheap!)
Oh and I live in an orrible post code!!!

that's not too bad. Once you get a year's no claims bonus, it should drop quite a bit.

If you get a chance, have a good look around for insurance though. Its amazing the differences you can find. One insurer may ask for £1000 for some bikes, yet another will ask for £300. wwww.gif Feck knows how they work that out. ooh2.gif

It's quite simple bd they have a big dart board with different prices on it and they get a blindfolded 2 year old to throw darts hence the huge fluctuations in price.
Of course if you're under 25 they take the blindfold off. laughcont.gif
I thought everyone knew that.
