ride an R6?

Took the FJR in for its 6000 mile service today and they gave me an R6 as a courtesy bike. I have never felt so uncomfortable in my life. Okay I'm not exactly built for race bikes but the ergonomics of this thing are beyond belief. Some of you will remember I've done the Race rep thing with the CBR600 but I don't remember it being this uncomfortable. Am I getting old or just spoiled by the FJR?

I have never ridden the R6 myself but I've sat on one. It felt comfortable but I'd need to ride the thing to be able to tell what its like on the open road. Like the other sportsbike I've tried, it does feel like there's much cover from the front and that you are leaning over the front end.

Probably okay at speed but I prefer something a bit more upright myself.

I heard someone say almost the same thing today...and he rides one!

He was drooling over my comfy VFR at the time
