i put an ad in the for sale for an FZR and i'm kinda interested in it for myself, but i found out some info about it! its tuned, its raced the IOM twice, it used to belong to Blacks motorcycles
its got hot cams, carbs, it just had a big bore kit, the lad who owns it now is sh*t scared of it but the biggest bikes hes had was 350lc's! its got renthals which will make it wanna wheelie anyway, i'd personally would put the fairing back on
the fact its going to be wild doesn't worry me.....much! its reliabilty, a friend had a Moto martin GSX1268 and that held together and was never any trouble, and was fun to ride, i'm not a nutcase, the chances of me wanting to find out "what it will do" are very remote so it will never get flogged...bet you thinking why buy it then? i love em!
the fzr is totally legal, nice pipe, just the engine worries me, would you buy it?

yeah this things G reg, just seen Blacks R1 lol, i don't really know how tuned the engine is now, i spose the fact its still running after 12 years is a good sign!, it was burning oil, hence the big bore kit, which sorted that
i'm told its very fast, the guy who fitted the big bore kit sed it was a lot faster than his standard one and had to use a higher gear than on his to keep the wheel on the ground coming out of corners:Oo: it was a pain around town because of the cams and the clutch, hopefully i'll get a go on it soon and judge for myself..... do you think i should start buying tyres now???
