So I've come off my high horse regarding a Duke now and I've been looking at serious alternatives. I like the Suki SV650S but I don't like the colours or the crappy front fairing shape but I prefer it to the non faired SV650. I do, however like the look of the SV1000 with it's sexxxxyyyy belly pan fairing so I went on a perusal for belly pans and posted a note to an SV650 Forum and got a reply to go to a certain website. On this website I found this fairing they've developed:-



And my oh my am I gonna be aiming for this one now... Every second of overtime is on the cards to get my debts sorted and get myself one... The reviews I've read have all been excellent both on the web and in BiKE mag, the performance stats look great and I've even downloaded a wav file of the Stock Exhaust compared to a lovely new Scorpion Exhaust and it's ggrrreeeaaattt in the words of Tony the Tiger...

Anyway enough ranting, what do you guys think? Another bad choice by Mr Obsidian?

i don't know much about them but what can i say.... i love it! personally i'm not keen on dukes, i've worked on a few and i find em way overpriced for what they are, i have friends with them and only one has kept one for a long time,and it eats rectifier/regulators. The suz is a lot nicer bike, well any big jap bike is

Anybody who owns the SV seems to love them and their have been a couple of owners.

Plus it looks the dogs orbs.

nice bike, well put together-finish is a bit weak, but better than italian stuff.
i like the fairing lowers, but i liked the old ones as well.

Well I prefer the look of unfaired bikes, but that looks ok - never knew you could make an SV look like a Fazer tho........

Strange you should say that Gran, the SV and Fazer look like twins with the new SV styling for 2003...




Still prefer the SV though!
