I'm off to see a CBR600F tomorrow, there are a few controls on 600s (cbr being one of them) that I'm not aware of...

As far as I know,

1 = Indicators
2 = Horn
3 = Dipped/High Beams
4 = Killswitch
5 = Starter Button

Left Ringed Item = ?? (Choke?)
Right Ringed Item = ?? (Hazard Warning Lights?)

left ringed item = passing light (I think it's called that - it basically flashes your headlights off and on as you press it)

right ringed item = headlight control switch (i.e. dipped and main)..

left is your choke and right is light switch

Think you'll find the left's the choke.. have another look trinoo.

The passing light is normally on the opposite side of the control. Not left right opposite, on the front of the cluster. You can see it if you stand on one leg and shut your left eye.

Ahh what do I know.. I've only got a CBR myself

(I probably am wrong though - don't use the passing light cos it's a waste of time and don't have a choke 'cos mine's FI)

Went to see the bike today..
1998 CBR600F
7200 miles, scottoiler, micron can (road legal) + original in box, double bubble screen..
MINT condition, £2695..

And? Did you buy it?

Nope. Wish I could, it's gorgeous.
As a side note, they reckon P/X my 06 CG [v. low mileage, no scuffs etc] is worth £800, because 'Honda are now selling them on special offer for £1300'. Wonder which planet that's on?

If it's still there in three months (and I manage a pvt. sale) I might do, but Im thinking aftersales might be a bit..lacking.
