Went on EBay yesterday to have a look at tyres. M and P have a shop on there I found out. A set of Diablo Corsa's £139 bowdown.gif beer.gif Oo1.gif wwww.gif. They charged 7 quid postage which includes insurance which isn't bad at all but the best thing is from ordering (3pm yesterday) to delivery was 21 hrs. bowdown.gif bowdown.gif . You can't get better than that. I might even enjoy the decorating I have to do this afternoon now bum.gif NOT.

I had loads of problems with M&P

When I first started biking I ordered my lock, gloves, boots etc from their site.

After about a week nothing turned up so I phoned them and cancelled the entire order.

Then about 2 weeks later the day before I was due to go on holiday they debited the money for the items out of my account. I phoned them and they said the goods had come to their warehouse and were now on the way to me. I went Mental. Apparently they had no record of me ever cancelling my order.

I was left with no money for my trip and had to borrow from friends and family. They refused to accept responcibility even though I had the name of the person I spoke to cancel the order.

Then about a month later they again debited money from my account. i phoned them and i got the same again. Apparently the items had come into their warehouse and were now on their way to me.

IMO they are useless and i will never deal with them again. They dont seem to take no for an answer if you cancel an order.
Wow
I find M & P are good if you know what you want. I have ordererd some luggage from them and that was fine. They haven't got a lot of pictures on their site. How do you know whether you like a jacket or trousers if you don't know what it looks like? When I ordered my luggage earlier on this year the site didn't work properly so I phoned them up and ordered for the same price. Two tankbags turned up instead of one, so on their advice i sent one back and I got the money and the postage back, all quite fast and everything and friendly, even cheeky (and funny) service (had difficulty with their accent or more with the welsh language as I was trying to write down the return address). wink1.gif

My understanding is that the phone based mail-order and the website are completely seperate and most of the screw-ups I have heard have been either from the website or in communication between the 2. Eg you ordered using the web but tried cancelling on the phone.

I have used their phone based mail order a few times and have had zero problems, never used their web site though as I have heard a few horror stories.

No problems with them as such, but the P&P rates were extremely high and I could see no benefit in ordering goods through them. Plus, half of the on-line items didn't have a picture to guarantee I would purchase the right item. Maybe they've improved since! tounge1.gif

Ordered a load of stuff last year - 3 weeks later and nothing from them (not even an email) so I called them up. They said that 3 of the things were out of stock and they were holding the entire order to keep postage costs own - which is fair enough, but the least they could have done was to advise the customer. Unfortunately 3 of the items were a present for my mate and as the woman on the phone could give me no idea when the stock would come in, I cancelled. Haven't ordered from them since - but I have used thefastone.com - which I believe is them as well.
