with a bit of cadgoling which i don't want to go into right know.(no skin left on any of my knuckles)
The engine is now in the frame and sitting quite nicely. I've managed to get the centre engine mount bolt (the one that runs underneath the sump)
to line up perfectly, with all the other mounts sitting in line with each other all be it spaced a little further back than std just need to make some new mounts now and i should be in business.
Even the sprockets line up i'm fecking stunned!!

good for you ima, you'll be ecstatic to hear that your paint job is going the same way(although i havent lost any skin)-did you know there was a dent in the tank underneath the origonal paint?
the side panels will weigh 50% more than normal, but will look much better for it.

Turns out the engine needs a whole new set of mounts making,although i've managed to keep one of the originals for alignment.
Aren't angle grinders fun tools? my bros coming up tomorrow to do the welding. looks like the stoving job is deffo on for sept.

suzuki (in their infinite wisdom) decided that a corrugated look on the side panels would be cool not they looked bloody minging, so dp has kindly filled all the corrugations to give me a nice smooth panel.
and much better they will look IMHO.
