Tis called a Vyrus, one steers it very easily, hub centre steering.
It handles very well apparently. It needs to with 150bhp at the back wheel.

Looks like the bike from Akira (japanese animation)

Is that a render or a photograph?

It is a real motorcycle, that is a photograph of it.

Paddock stands to you as well. grin.gif

It looks like it was made from the bits of bike left over when you clear the garage out.

Would look better with a fairing on it.

Nothing looks better with a fairing on it, especially as it usually means it costs an extra £50 to service it.

Centre-hub steering? Unfaired? V-twin?
That'll be the Bimota Tesi 2D then. "Vyrus" was the development name, apparently.

It's the successor to the old Tesi, which really introduced the world of centre-hub streering to the world of sports bikes (although it cost a bomb!), but it has more poke, better handling, and a nastier look to it.

£23000ish, if you can find a dealer who can get you one. Buy an RX8 for that sort of money. Or a stable of CBRs!

Picture is a bit dark on my monitor, but am I right in assuming that the little red wheels at the back are a paddock stand rather than a set of stabilisers?

I expect they could fit some stabilisers until you get used to it. grin.gif

I know it is a Car and Not a bike,,,,,,,,,,

but for £23 K............

I would take a 2nd hand RX8 cool2.gif and 2nd hand sports bike........ bowdown.gif

but I guess If you like exclusivity,,,,,,,, I doubt you will see many of those about..........

Oooo, my son has a red RX8 - it's lovely

(tried to add a pic of it but didn't work cry.gif )

£28k. That'd be a second hand Skyline then grin.gif . Plus towbar and caravan to really wind the chav's up lbhh.gif

Good looking bike though. I guess it'd be fairly exclusive at rallies.

Dont forget the Yamaha GTS1000!

there was lots of experimentation with Hub centre steering throughout the eighties and nineties. It allows the front suspension to operate independently of the steering and results in much less flex in the front end, although modern USD forks have all but rendererd the system obsolete!

Bimotas tesi system was just one of many attempts, a recent incarnation can be seen in the custom V-max by Ludovich Lazareth..........gorgeous!

It is still ongoing. If I build a trike I will use hub centre steering.

Hardly a modern innovation; 1916 - the Ner-a-car was first produced, with centre-hub steering.

Now that's what you call weird ooh2.gif

I thought the GST1000 was more of a sports tourer. Anyway, yes - I know the one. There were a few about, but you don't see much of them nowadays.

You could always have the old Suzuki Nuda concept bike...

I've ridden one of those. Sturmey Archer 3 speed geer box. And yes weird would be a apt desciption of the experience.

GTS1000, replacement for the FJ1200, biggest mistake yamaha ever made.
