anyone here know anything about Kymco CK125s?

I was practising putting my new tailpack on it yesterday and got the seat off and back on ok to get the strap under it, but now i can't get the friggin seat off again to undo the the strap ooh2.gif

i've gone through the manual and it doesn't say anywhere, i've gone round the seat inch by inch and can't find a clip to unlock anywhere... the few times i've had it off before i think it just clicked out pulling up from the front, but as I say, i can't get the blardy thing off for the life of me now blush21.gif worse, it's partly come up where i've yanked at it, and doesn't want to go back down blush21.gif

i realise that it must just be a case of pulling it the right way (fnar fnar), but if anyone knows these bikes and can advise which way I should be thwacking the damn thing (eg. from the front pulling up, or at the sides, or at the back, or whatever) I'd much appreciate it bowdown.gif

ta, moff.

By the looks of it it matches the brazilian CG (titan versions I think).

Are you sure the straps arn't covering the catches you need to flip to open the seat?

yeh i wondered that but i managed to get the straps off in the end by rotating the pack round and undoing the velcro ... so now no pack on the seat but a wonky seat that won't come off nor go back on cry.gif blush21.gif

oooh- if the seat isn't the quick release type then there should be two bolts (one either side) at the same place there the GrabRail is (does your have a grabrail?)
At the front, there should be a bit of plastic/metal/gubbins that slide under the tank itself.

It'd check for the bolts first.

turns out i was being a prize vegetable ... took it down to the garage ... the helmet clip also doubles as the seat-release blush21.gif
kind chap at the garage showed me, and also managed to get the seat off as with my brute-force approach i'd jammed it half-on and half-off and knackered it so that even undoing the clip wouldn't help; long bit of wire and some fiddling and cursing and it suddenly popped off, phew.

so anyway, all sorted now, phew, trip to devon is still on on friday grin.gif

and if anyone else has a kymco ck125, the manual doesn't mention this but the seat release is the helmet lock on the right side of the bike! blush21.gif blush21.gif
