Hi all
Just got a quick question about my CBT certificate.
I took my CBT on an automatic scooter, does this mean as with a car licence that I can only ride an automatic scooter on my CBT certificate.
Reason I ask is I am looking to buy a Honda CG 125, obviously, this is a geared bike. Just wondered if I could ride it on the same CBT certificate.
Thanks in Advance

Nope no differentation between automated and manual bikes.
Eg your CBT isnt classified as an "automatic" CBT, its the same as a CBT done on a manual bike.
However it would be a good idea to redo it on a manual bike for the training and experience.

ask your training school - I did a 'gear conversion course' after doing my CBT on a twist 'n go. It was a day of being taught to ride a geared bike, rather than CBT again but on a geared bike (i.e. didn't have to sit through talk on clothing, watch videos, etc - just rode)

CBT covers both geared and automatics, does'nt make a difference.
