I would imagine if you look under the edge of the seat, probably the left side, you should see a keyhole. This will be 1. a helmet lock, and 2 the release mechanism for the seat.

Failing that, there may be a keyhole above the number plate.

Good luck...

Yup,

left hand side just under seat.

no no no..theres no seat release for these bikes..that was their major letdown. you need to remove tail fairing and theres 2 x 12/13 mm bolts(ok half inch then) that u need to remove. then seat lifts out. now as theres a wee sort of space under there for wallet/tools etc then it seems stupid that u cant remove seat quickly. so to follow up theres a company on the internet that sells a conversion kit. for the life of me i cant remember the name so google for it. the conversion kits consists of a larger underseat box and a solenoid activated release mechanism. the underseat box even has a lockable lid for more security. the solenoid release is operated by a keyfob type thing rather like a car alarm fob. you should point fob at bike press button and hey presto..underseat access. the kit when i did it cost 45 english pounds and was fitted by 2 ppl within 35 minutes.
