When we all met up at sherburn last w/e you may remember my helmet fell of my bike seat while talking.

WELL we all do it, the helmet was brand new but now has to be scraped due to the fall which I might say was a real bouncer type fall with weight behind it but not with me in it thank god, the unseen damage was not noticed until the ride home in windy conditions.

On close inspection the visor was out of alignment and allowing draughts through the sides and nothing can be done so its in the bin and there could possibly be a hairline fracture in the shell?? so to be on the safe side its BINNED so DONT PUT YER HELMET ON YER SEAT especialy if the bike is on the side stand!!

I aways try to put my gloves on the groud with the helmet on top. Seems to have been pretty safe so far.

Its not a nice sounds hearing a helmet bouncing. no.gif

That's a real bummer plug sniffle.gif but it did go with a clunk.
I usually hang mine on the bar opposite the stand, or put it on the deck.

sorry about the bouncing lid Plug, must've happened b4 i got there?
ALL lids are one impact devices, i teach ALL my students that the correct place is on the ground, on gloves, palm up in the wet.
hanging it on the bars is dodgy as well & while we're on the subject, flip fronts aren't as safe as PROPER full face lids.
nice subtle helmet your new one wwww.gif
