Hi admin, just chatted to mads and TBC on msn, both are asking if there is a problem with the site....they cant access the forum and keep getting the server not found message

I had a problem last night and could not get in here until fairly late this morning.

just managed to get on now. i think BD forgot to feed the hamsters running on the wheel keeping the server alive

I had no probs last night... but that was after 2am when everyone else was asleep.

Mind you- I'm havingprobs getting onto MSN at the moment

I have had problems earlier this evening:- server not found.

Feck, I can't see anything.

Some people are getting it, others aren't. Sounds like something domain related.


If anyone has this problem again, can you try both ukbikeforum.co.uk and ukbikeforum.com

I passed both addy's on to R1Dave....and hes gettin the same server not found reply from both

The last time I saw something similar happen it was people with NTL, who needed to enter a proxy server.

I'll need to look into this one.

when this happened to me the other night (?), i did try both domain names and it came up with the error. i'm on blueyonder, not sure if that helps BD? could it be that ISPs are updating their DNSs?

It does look as if it's DNS related. Feck..

There was some routing work done early this morning, which may have fixed the problem. Hopefully, it's sorted now.
