I need a new set of downpipes for the VFR800. cry.gif I've been having a look at the Predator stuff. They're made in England and have a 10 warranty, which is longer than I'll have the bike. ooh2.gif

£400 though.... verysad.gif

Anybody used them and what did they think of the quality?

Sorry I can't comment on those exhausts, but why not try a Micron system for the viffer.

I'd go for a micron can but I haven't found any listings for the downpipes. Probably mucho expensive and I'd maybe have to go for a full system. ooh2.gif That would wipe out all the money I'd be getting for the old VFR. verysad.gif

I was lucky enough to find a full Micron system on ebay...

a set of downpipes are around 240 from Motad.

I got my Micron for 200 quid on ebay, and I´ve just sold the can and link pipe for 65 quid!

So... the downpipes only cost me 135 quid! buttrock.gif

VFR downpipes are usually expensive. Motad offered a full system, which could cost anything from £550 up to £700 depending on who you asked. ooh2.gif

A set of downpipe for either of the VFR's will cost around £350 to £450 new. verysad.gif People don't want to pay that for a older bike, so the second hand market it very good.

I'll just have to keep a look out for any becoming available. fcrossed.gif

a friend of mine has em on a 750 Fazer and they seem to be weathering well, quality looks ok, sound nice (twin silencers) cans look a bit plain and boring tho
