Here's the crack with the Orange and broadband.
Wanadoo and Orange were both owned by a company called France Telecom- what they have done is merge the two together so we now have Orange and Orange Broadband. And, to compete with the likes of O2 and T-Mobile they have introduced this offer...

If you take out a new contract (or re-new your exsisting one) for a minimum of 18months, you will get FREE BROADBAND from Orange. It's the old Wanadoo Wireless deal.
With the Free offer- you will get the Wireless Online package (Used to be £17.99/month)- you get upto 8Meg connection (but the national average is 2Meg) and a limit of about 2GB/Month AND a "LiveBox"- a wireless Modem capable of WiFi (No calbes trailing round the gaff) and you can plug your X-Box or PS2 into it as well buttrock.gif .

Mind you, if you want to use your Mobile Internet (Most phones made over the last few years can do this)- call them up on 150 and pick options 4 then 2. Ask for the Try OrangeWorld. This gives you 4Megabyte of date FREE to use within a month (about 500pages I think), but you have to call before the months up to cancel the trial or you'll get charged £4/month for each month afterwards.

I'm sorry- I'll stop working now blush21.gif

yep.

See- I said that without moving my lips grin.gif

Mads is right, you DO need a BT line (You should be OK with TalkTalk or One-Tel). There's should be a link on the Orange site to see if you can take it- if you've ever had Wanadoo B.Band in the past then you should be fine.

I'm with NTL, so it looks like I'm gubbed.
Anth
