Folks,

I need to check one of my clutch bearings. I was having a browse of the manual today, since I've never done a clutch. The last time I had clutch problems was on my old cb125tdc superdream back in 1988. ooh2.gif

It sayid that I need this tool.

Do I really need it? Or is there a way of getting the lock nut off without one?

In gear with a lump of 4 x 2 through the back wheel as long as it's cast - don't try it with steel spokes wink1.gif

Carefully drill the 'staked' bit out first, then smacking the spanner rather than leaning on it should shift it
