i have a two piece Frank Thomas Strike jacket trousers textile, can they be put in the washing machine any tips please...

Usualy only the linings are machine washable I think.

i just managed to find the very worn tag, it says not machine washable only
use a sponge with soap errr. pity

I did wash my summer jacket/ pants early this winter before going to rest on the wardrobe till spring ( so out any time soon )

I washed it by hand in the bath,,,, using Nikwax ( Loft Tech Wash )£ 4
and it did a great job.....

clean as new.... let it soak for a while etc,,,,, and used a sponge, soft brush on the stain bits.....


and still waterproof....... eyebrow.gif


although you can also get TX.direct Waterproofing £6 for Textile if you think you need.


You should be able to get it on any outdoor store, like Blacks/ Snow&Rock etc

or order from Busters,, H&G ..........or alike

have used nikwax tech wach and tex direct in on all my textiles and found them to come out the old spinner in great condition, go for it but don't blame me when the fall apart when your sliding down then road, i can gladly say mine have not been crash tested.
