any one seen bikerboyz yet?
it was supposed to be released on friday, but it wasnt showing  at our local cinema.
for those who dont know, its a biker movie starring lawrence fishburne, kid rock and a few others.
its been likened to fast and the furious.
im hoping its not one of those no brainer, unrealistic far fetched films with scenes like mission impossible2, which had a speed triple smoking a duke 996 and both bikes going through noticible tyre changes etc. between scenes. oops! were not supposed to notice that are we.

No but tbh i've not heard a good review about it yet.
Apparently it's a completely inept pile of dog doo.
I'm surprised at lawrence fishburn being in this, fabulous as morpheus, surely he doesn't need to put his name to this sort of drivel.
I hate films of this genre, the fast and the furious and biker boyz just encourage people to go out and be complete muppets on the streets, it's bad enough on the roads as it is without films glorifying idiocy.
The only decent film about cars an bikes is and always will be mad max pure class. Even though the biking community was painted in a bad light.

I saw it a couple of days ago and expected it to be a pretty average film. Every review I'd read said it was sh!te and a rip-off of Fast N Furious.

Anyway I was pleasantly surprised. The film's not fantastic but it's also not bad. The story-line is quite shallow but is pleasant enough to just let you go with it.

Bikes were lovely, races were good too and I liked the fact that although there was a lot of street racing, they'd close off the roads etc so it's less likely to make the Rude-Boy Ped Brigade less likely to buy a can of spray paint, draw a start line and race their hyper tuned fire-work in front of a 152 bus. idea32.gif

There are a few flaws in the film (as every movie usually has) like the fact that the leathers they all wore were more like summat Ali-G would wear and would provide as much protection as rice paper in an accident but hey, can't win em all. swivel.gif

The film's basically a much better version of Fast and Furious, general good entertainment but don't expect anything fancy.  :buttrock:
