WTF??!!

<thinks how cute she must have been before the off>

i think that the bikini mite be out of the window, shes gonna be half covered in scar tissue! not nice!

but i bet she was cute before the irresponsible decision!
Tinybikerchick
If she has the guts to admit her mistake and not blame her bloke, then she most likely has the guts to still wear a bikini, especially to show off her boob job lol!

She will probably think her scars make her interesting.

I'm not however endorsing riding with out kit!, I hope those who dont wear their kit all the time learn from it.

Hope she heals quick!

Donīt understand why all the bad wording on the other forum saying that she is this and that...

I think she knows that and thatīs why she posted the pics, to show others what can happen.
And also I believe to let everyone know that she is not blaming the rider and no one should and to give him some peace of mind.

Tough girl! bowdown.gif

Aye, some pain, and she will have a reminder of that mistake every day. But on a positive note, she is still alive

Hope she heals well and fast
Ace
Well i am pleased that she survived and that she is back on two wheels again, she seams to be coping with it well, but i bet your bottom dollar when she is in private in front of the mirror she isnt quite so positive.

Personaly i lay the blame on the rider, yeah she was stupid to even consider get on without protective clothing. But ultimately it is the rider who decides who gets on the back, then he has the desission of how fast he rides knowing that his pillion has no protective clothing.

I wont allow anyone on the back if they arnt protected, dress up or walk.
Terrible_tony
yea agree with you ace!

if the rider had have said wear your kit then she wouldn't be in such a mess now! and also he was doing a stupid speed with a pillion, let alone one that had in proper kit on!

but at least she's still got teh bottle to stick with biking plus we know she'll wear the correct kit all the time - and so will everyone else that sees that photo!

I wouldnt bet on that, no matter how you try to educate some people they will still take stupid risks.

Having had gravel rash once when I was younger I shudder whenever I see motorcyclists out on their bikes in T-shirts, shorts, and trainers.
If only they'd realise just how much pain even a small amount of gravel rash can cause.

Funny tho, having worked in Arizona a while, only legally piece of motorcycle kit required there was a pair of shades (or glasses, eye protection). That wouldn't do anyone there much good then them big beetles strat to fly and mate in some part of the summer, a friend hit one with an open face helmet and goggles and it broke his nose and the inside of his helmet was covered in goo, they weigh less than a small bag of sugar, but I had a bumble bee hit me at 80mph on the knee, so I would be defenatly worried about a large beetle.
Benguin
120mph in a bikini? She's either damned lucky or exaggerating a tad!
Gislaine
On one hand I think poor girl, on the other I think silly tart.

If I had another hand I think also brave to admit her mistakes and she's here and learned a valuable lesson!!!!!

As for the boob job comment, it was probably just an attempt to put a humorous slant on the whole trauma, rather than a 'brag'. And lets face it if you don't laugh sometimes, you'll cry.....

Yeah, re the boob job comment.. I think she's being human and showing a little humour there.

To be honest it's admirable that she's got up and got on with her life best she can. To admit that she made a silly mistake and now she has to live with it takes some real guts.

As a young buck on holiday years back, I came off a scooter without the proper protection.... I did leave a long smear of me on the tarmac and still have some scars.

Can't say it enough, Wear the best gear you can afford, and wear it everytime you ride!

Having had an incident recently where I unfortunately broke my hand, I'm happy to say that the boots, helmet, gloves and leathers all earnt their keep that day!!!
SusieB
Poor girl. She learnt a valuable lesson, had the balls to admit it AND post pictures of her terrible scars for other people to take note.

And on that other forum....how many utter t*ssers were there who commented on how they would "hit it" and "poke it" with or without scars? Or how she was "quite cute before the off"????

What shallow, thoughtless, inconsiderate, self-obsessed w*nkers.

I nearly used the c-word then. FFS. veryangry.gif veryangry.gif

Very well put SusieB. There's enough for her to now contend with in this world without people taking that attitude. Just not needed and it's more dissaponting when it's coming from other bikers!
