On the way to work tonight in the cage. When I switched the lights on, the temperature start going up. I only noticed once the needle had reach the top of the gauge.  :O

As soon as I switched the lights off, It slowly went back down to half way. It doesn't usually sit as high as that.

I haven't checked anything yet. I thought I better leave the car to cool before I check the water level. Anybody heard of this one before.

I'd guess it's an electrical fault rather than the temp actually going up.

It wasn't dark  :laughcont: , just really dull because of heavy rain clouds.

I have a theory. You could have a short somewhere in your electrical system. When you turn your lights on it's taking power away from the cooling fan for your engine.
