Am i starting to see a pattern forming here?

another good article.
Do i do em?
yes when you have a twenty two year old bike maintainance becomes a key issue.
generally i'll do a check each weekend but i'm also always on the lookout/listen/feel for odditys if you know what i mean.

interesting , however a bit hard to do on the real world.

I try to check the tyres, oil, chain every 2 weeks, but really i do when i feel there is something wrong.

You get used to the feel of the bike and if something goes, you notice.

The lights and brake light almost daily, i can see the reflection on the door when i park, heheh idea32.gif

The other points i have a good look when i clean and lube the bike, at least once a month. I like the bike clean.

Anyway i guess it depends on how much your ride , bike age and how you take care of your bike.............

Agreed TC.

I do most of the checks as I'm wheeling it out of the garage (brakes and steering) and warming it up (tyres and fluids) each morning. It adds no time to my journey at all. smile1.gif

Great site. Lots of good information. Like any new person to motorbikes, I have to start thinking about maintance and checks, once I find where the spark plugs are.
