Suki
that if I want to continue being a member of this (rather strange!! eyebrow.gif ) family I should at least take my CBT.

Now.. I am a cage person, I have had one bad (embarrasing blush21.gif ) experience on a motorbike and have to admit to being a little wary of them!!

I am only 4' 11'' tall - surely too small for a standard bike?!?!

Not only that - and I think THIS IS THE IMPORTANT BIT of this whole thing...............

Ima says if I get my CBT I could have the GSX 250 and he could BUY A GHOST!!!!!!!

I think I need a vote - I say he is only saying this to get the Lavvy!!
All those in favour say aye...

He would never do such a thing.  :wink1.gif:  :laughcont:

Height isn't really a problem, if you go for the right bike. There are quite a few women on bikes now, Its not for everyone though. Some people just don't like them but its worth trying. You never know, you might never look back.  :buttrock:

Hi Suki, i reckon that you should have a go at your CBT. You said that you'd had a little mishap which has made you a bit shakey at the prospect of riding, but you never know, you could be a demon rider in the making, so go on have a go. There are all sorts of bikes out there for us little legs,(i'm a modest 5'2" and  ride a ZZR 600,) you just have to find the right one for you. As EB said, " more female bikers is a good thing, so go on honey, take a deep breath and go for it, i'm right behind you. smile1.gif

The mere fact you haven't said an outright no and are asking for others opinions suggests you are tempted by the idea.  Go on give it a go and if you don't like it give it up.  If you don't try you'll forever have tha doubt about whether you could have done it.

Suki baby-(puts instructors head on)
GO FOR IT, Jens 5ft 1in & can reach the floor on a cg125 (the most common learner bike)

HOWEVER, you wont be able to ride Imas 250-you are restricted to a 125 geared or otherwise.
You could do your cbt & take a restricted(cheaper) test, run a 125 for 2 years then move up to a bigger bike.
still with me?
catch me in chat & i'll answer any questions you have.

in my opinion there is NO deficiency that stops someone who wants to from riding a bike.  i have with my own eyes seen chest down paralees ( for give me) riding bikes/trikes/combos or whatever.  Bikes make you alive and in control and give you the abillity to disregard sh!te in your life.   Yeah so the bailiffs might have just taken my sofa but IM RIDING MY BIKE! etc etc.  Or the surgeons just hacked off my leg/arm whatever and IM RIDING MY BIKE!

Go for it suki sue - its  a hook and no mistake.  We all die sometime and we all hurt ourselves in one way or another and we weigh up the odds and pros and cons of everything.  Get your cbt out of the way and toddle about finding your way and join a big familly ( w@nkers excepted) and never look back.

Or, do your cbt - dont really like it but live the rest of your life at least able to say that you tried it.

I love bikes and biking and could never forsee a time that i would be bikeless but am willing to accept that its not for everyone.  Give it a go, go on, go on....
