I'm thinking of getting some custom earplugs made up when I'm down at the BMF as those disposable ones irritate the hell out of me.  What do you use and any recommendations?
bikerdave
They can be a bit of a pain in the butt but I usually use the disposable ones myself. Usually EAR classic. When I was on my way down to the CW bash, I left home without any. I had to stop at a shop and buy some. I got this bright orange ones with a smoother coating on the outside. They were really comfortable.

Somebody mention that your ear grows thoughout your life. So the custom ones will not be as good as the expanding ones (after a while).

Every fart is silent but deadly.  :eyebrow:

I found a pack of the bright orange ones, they're called MAX-1, I think. They are a bit more comfortable than the EAR classics.

If you've got feck-off big ear canals, the Max are the dogs,
if you've little poncy ones then Lazer Lites are more comfy.

Me? I find a couple of rolled up Daily Records do the job.

Lucy Dell is where I used to order them from in bulk (bike shops are a rip off in comparison) but I think Barra got the best deal of all from ..... somewhere I can't remember. An industrial protection kit company anyway. I'm sure he'll be along presently to put me in my place and pass on the details.

Eh? What? Who said that?

OK www.safetysupplies.co.uk do 200 Max, LaserLite and
a few others for 23quid incl tax (to hold them in?) and P&P.
