The hand is feeling and looking a lot better. Not up to a long run yet hence only 33 miles which was the journey home plus the pdi mileage (2.5 miles) (or maybe I was just gripping too tightly with the excitement!). Taking it gently anyway as I'm not supposed to exceed 5000 rpm for sustained periods up to the first service at 600 miles. Still enough to enjoy though as 5000 rpm is 85mph in top and it doesn't feel like its going that fast so gawd knows what speed I'll be doing when I use the other half of the rev range!
Scooby, don't worry, I won't be playing dominoes with this one as I'm not going to the NW200 this year and have learned not to park within falling distance of a BMW.
Tomorrow some of the SBs are coming round to help me put up my bikesafe so the FJR will be cordoned off to avoid getting their drool all over it

.
As Zombie has said FJR owners do tend to wax lyrical about their bikes so be warned if ever I meet any of you and please tell me if I start going on too much on here especially about the new stealth number plates.
