I prefer leather boots personally as flip flops tend to leave the toes a little exposed  :laughcont:
3-rex
very nice, squire

Ian
You're welcome to have a shot....

in about 25 years time when its worth tuppenceha'penny! :p
ZOMB!E
Take it back and complain - thatnumber plates blank and you'll get nicked for that!

Was having a shuftie and these today in a yamaha dealers - very nice in the flesh ( and the photos) and actually look quite agile and sporty.  Over at bentley last year i made a mistake and asked an owner of a new one what it was like - me and EB got trapped there for aboput fifteen minutes as he waxed lyrical about how fantastic it was ( he'd done about fifteen hundred miles at that point so had had time to notice any nastiness).

Nice one mate - georgeous.

Very nice Ian.

Is the hand starting to feel a bit better?
ima
Wow that's a bit nice.
Suuuuuueee come and look at this!!!

Aw sue sez no... Bollox no.gif
ScoobyDoo
Very nice Ian... just don't play dominoes with this one huh? I don't think I could get out from under it  :laughcont:

The only real R6's are silver too smile1.gif
Ian
The hand is feeling and looking a lot better.  Not up to a long run yet hence only 33 miles which was the journey home plus the pdi mileage (2.5 miles) (or maybe I was just gripping too tightly with the excitement!).  Taking it gently anyway as I'm not supposed to exceed 5000 rpm for sustained periods up to the first service at 600 miles. Still enough to enjoy though as 5000 rpm is 85mph in top and it doesn't feel like its going that fast so gawd knows what speed I'll be doing when I use the other half of the rev range!

Scooby, don't worry, I won't be playing dominoes with this one as I'm not going to the NW200 this year and have learned not to park within falling distance of a BMW.

Tomorrow some of the SBs are coming round to help me put up my bikesafe so the FJR will be cordoned off to avoid getting their drool all over it grin.gif .

As Zombie has said FJR owners do tend to wax lyrical about their bikes so be warned if ever I meet any of you and please tell me if I start going on too much on here especially about the new stealth number plates. laughcont.gif
ima
Staelth number plates? enlighten please....
Ian
Oh boy this could have been good but I'm not going to be so cruel to someone who has just returned to the fold.  :laughcont:

I was going to reply with a story about number plates that are linked to a GPS receiver on which the numbers turn yellow when you exceed the speed limit so the Gatso's can't see your number.  But I won't.

Zombie made a quip about taking it back because the number plate was blank so I continued the joke with the stealth number plate thing which I thought would only raise a smile or two. laughcont.gif

Watch out for the shafties can't wheelie or counter steer brigade if you join any other forums.
