Well seeing as I didn't make the NEC last year (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad1.gif)

I thought I'd head to this one instead (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grin.gif)

Going to see if I can't pick up some extra kit for my fiance (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grin.gif)

Plus I want to have a damn good perv over the new Bimota (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hearts.gif)

Anyone else planning on going? Or is it just me? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lbhh.gif)

Well if anyone going on Sunday (7th) wants to meet up for a coffee and a face-to-name kind of thing, PM me your mobile number and I'll bung you a text when I get there...

Cheers,

Well...

Went today, and can honestly say I won't be going again. Sure, the stuff I bought was a brilliant price, and I got everything I wanted, but the last half a mile took 90 minutes to get in, due to the incompetent staff dealing with the parking. No signs (of any use), and when we finally started moving, there wasn't a car in front for ages, so have no idea what the hold up was, other than some jobsworth holding the traffic on his own.

The Arena show was good, but didn't have as many people as last time I went, so each "act" had to go twice.

And, I can honestly say, in my opinion, London is the biggest sh1te hole on the face of this planet.

Luckily, I went with my cousin, and between the two of us we had quite a good laugh. I'll be sticking to the NEC bike show from now on though.

Totally agree with you Jon (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad1.gif)

I thought it was crap (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad1.gif)

There were no programmes that any of us were aware of???

Half the manufacturer's stands were small and crap (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad1.gif)

Honda couldn't be bothered to bring the new VFR (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

We went on the train so no parking probs for us but still left utterly fed up (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad1.gif)

+1.

The first time my wife flew over London she looked out of the window and said "If that's London the German's didn't finish the job properly". Couldn't agree more with her.

Don't sit on the fence, tell us what you really think (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lbhh.gif)

It's not all bad, you know, but the bit that Excel is in is a bit grim.

Hahaha sorry, I was in a bit of a bad mood last night (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grin.gif)

It wasn't just the Excel center though, we just decided to follow the sat nav from the M4, and ended up going past the london eye, the tower of london, london bridge, the millenium dome, straight through the middle.

I was also at Wembley before Christmas, and that looked just as bad...

Oh well... I don't have to worry about it any more, as I'm not going back (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool2.gif)

Eh??? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ooh2.gif)

It's one of the most developed bits of London (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ooh2.gif) (although that's not saying much (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) )

Just cos it's developed doesn't make it good. A lot of the poplar/docklands/caaan tahn area is grim, featureless and not very inviting.

Go check out Mexico city, Mumbai, Lagos, Lusaka... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lbhh.gif)

But I wouldn't want to go into London if I lived out your way either. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif)

Me & the Mrs went Friday, with very low expectations- we had a great day. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wwww.gif)
